State of Nature Raw avoids and rejects ingredients from large meat packing companies and poultry processing plants. For the last five years we have researched and developed relationships with small local farmers who raise poultry, cattle and other meats in healthy and humane environments.

Every ingredient is locally sourced for freshness and quality.

By the way, local for us means within driving distance from the Hudson Valley. Every week we bring back fresh, beautiful ingredients to our small batch kitchen here in Ruby, NY.

Our packaging is designed to use the minimum amount of plastic with the optimum amount of safety. Every package has a transparent back. You can actually see the fresh frozen food blend you are buying for your pet. All packages are vacuumed sealed to keep freshness in and keep freezer burn out. For convenience, each package has a zip top. We are currently offering one pound and five pound packages. We ask that you rinse out the empty plastic package and recycle it as part of State of Nature Raw’s commitment to sustainability and minimal environmental impact.
